Finalizing Drafts

Announcements: Thanks for the card!

Thank Goodness It’s Grammar: Students started class by completing the 5-26 TGIG.

Activity: Students typed and saved final drafts of argumentative pieces. I suggested that students save pieces on both the O: and Q: drive. I scored marked rough drafts by using the Read 180 Argumentative Process Piece Cover Sheet. Students then worked at both the instructional software station and the independent reading station. At each station, students earned participation points and at independent reading students got a grade for the Read 180 Independent Reading Log.
