Today, students began #1 of these On-Demand Bell-Ringers. If you missed this, you need to turn in the first bell-ringer completed.
Next, students discussed what it means to read a book of “equal literary merit” to the books on the AP List. For this next Independent Reading Project, which you are currently writing, students will most likely have the freedom to choose any book from the list, or a book of equal literary merit. I also want students to stay away from the stuff we’ve all heard about over and over (ex: Of Mice and Men, Trifles, etc).
Lastly, students read independently and discussed On-Demand Bell-Ringers. Tomorrow, you’ll get a vocabulary list for Brave New World. Test coming on Monday!
